For documentation-friendly Singapore renovation contractors
Better-scoped homeowners. Fewer unclear variation fights.
SG Renovate AI is building a controlled alpha for contractors who want clearer briefs, written variation records, milestone evidence, and cleaner handover conversations - not another race-to-the-bottom lead directory.
Controlled alpha only. No automatic listing, no ranking, no recommendation, no lead guarantee.
Controlled Alpha
Better-scoped enquiries start before the quote.
SG Renovate AI is shaping a homeowner workflow where scope, variations, milestone evidence, and handover records are normal before contractor conversations become expensive.
If any of this sounds familiar
The same fights, on every job.
Most renovation disputes don't start at handover. They start at the quote stage - when nobody wrote down what was actually included, when changes were agreed verbally on-site, and when milestone payments were tied to feelings instead of evidence. Serious contractors carry the cost of that ambiguity.
Vague enquiries
"Can you quote my whole house" with no measurements, no scope, no condition.
Free design consultation
Hours of meetings, mood boards and quotes - for a job that goes to a cheaper bidder who skipped the prep.
"I thought that was included"
Skirting, hacking, disposal, electrical re-wiring - the same five arguments, every project.
Verbal variations
Changes agreed on-site, paid for never. Or paid for, then disputed at handover.
WhatsApp-only decisions
A scroll of 3,000 messages where the actual decision is hidden somewhere on day 14.
Milestone payment friction
"Why is the next claim due now?" - every claim, every project.
Handover defect blur
Workmanship issue, owner damage, or wear-and-tear? Nobody documented the original condition.
Price-only comparison
Homeowner has 3 quotes from 3 firms with 3 different scopes - and decides on the lowest number.
What changes when the homeowner arrives prepared
Same job. Different starting line.
SG Renovate AI doesn't replace your contract, your quotation, your project management, or your team. It changes the condition the homeowner is in when they walk through your door.
A scoped brief, not a vague request
Homeowners arrive having worked through scope room-by-room - not "renovate my whole place."
A shared starting record
What's in scope, what isn't, what the homeowner expects, all in one place.
Variation language they already know
Homeowners are introduced to the concept of written variations before they meet you.
Milestone framing they already understand
"Why payments are tied to evidence" is the homeowner's reading, not your sales pitch.
Quote clarity expectations
Homeowners are nudged to compare quotes on scope, not just on price.
Handover discipline as the norm
Homeowners come in expecting a handover checklist, not improvising one at week 12.
Fewer memory-based disputes
When the record exists in writing, "I thought" arguments lose oxygen.
Better-fit projects
Homeowners who don't want to write anything down generally don't make it through the workflow.
SG Renovate AI does not guarantee enquiries, project volume, or that any particular homeowner will choose your firm. It changes the quality of the conversation, not the quantity of leads.
Here's what they walk in with
The homeowner side, in your interest.
This is the public homeowner toolkit. By the time a serious homeowner contacts a contractor through SG Renovate AI, they have usually been through some or all of these.
Room-by-room scope planner
They've broken the project down room by room before they ask for a quote.
Contractor-Ready Brief
They've written what they're actually asking for - not "renovate everything."
Quote clarity comparison
They've been taught to compare scope, not just price.
Budget risk tracker
They've thought about variations and contingency before signing anything.
Before You Sign
They've been told, in plain language, what to ask before paying a deposit.
This isn't a guarantee that every homeowner uses every tool. It's a signal of the kind of homeowner SG Renovate AI is shaping.
How participation actually works
A controlled alpha. Not a directory.
SG Renovate AI is currently in controlled alpha. That means contractor participation is deliberate, reviewed, and limited - not automatic.
- 01
You register interest.
Tell us who your firm is, the kind of renovation work you do, and how you handle scope, variations, evidence, and handover today.
- 02
The founder reviews fit personally.
No automated scoring. No public ranking. No SEO race. Reviewed against the kind of cohort SG Renovate AI is intentionally building.
- 03
Selected contractors may be contacted.
For pilot alignment, a structured conversation, or feedback on the workflow itself. There is no obligation on either side.
- 04
No automatic publication.
Public visibility, if it ever happens for your firm, requires your explicit consent and a separate review.
- 05
No ranking, public scoring, or review race during alpha.
SG Renovate AI is not setting up a star-score board, a leaderboard, or a public review system in this phase.
Registering interest does not create a public listing, a contractor profile, or any visible status on SG Renovate AI.
Current public alpha listing state
Empty by design during alpha.
No contractor profiles are currently visible. This is intentional while participation, consent, display fields, and review controls remain under founder-led alpha governance.
Built for
- Renovation firms and ID studios that already work from written scopes.
- Teams comfortable putting variations in writing before doing the work.
- Contractors who treat milestone evidence as normal practice, not extra effort.
- Firms that want better-prepared homeowners more than they want more homeowners.
- Contractors tired of being compared on price alone, with no scope context.
Probably not for
- Firms that want a quick lead-gen pipeline without scope discipline.
- Contractors looking for a public badge, ranking, or score system.
- Teams that prefer cash-only or undocumented arrangements.
- Firms expecting SG Renovate AI to guarantee homeowner payment.
- Contractors who treat written records as bureaucracy, not protection.
If the second column describes you better than the first, this probably isn't the right platform - and that's fine.
Honest limits
What this platform is not.
SG Renovate AI is not a lead-generation service, not a contractor directory, not a ranking platform, not a recommendation engine, not a verification service, not an escrow operator, not a payment guarantor, not a workmanship guarantor, and not a legal adviser. Controlled alpha participation does not mean public listing, approval, accreditation, verification, or endorsement.
Controlled alpha. Not a lead directory. Not a ranking platform. Not an escrow service.
Contractor questions
Straight answers before you register.
Will SG Renovate AI send me leads?
No. SG Renovate AI is not a lead-generation service and does not promise enquiries, project volume, or matching. The value is the quality of conversation when a homeowner does engage - not the quantity of homeowners pushed at you.
Will my firm be publicly listed?
No automatic listing. Registering interest does not create a public profile, page, or directory entry. Public visibility, if it ever happens for your firm, requires explicit consent and a separate review.
Will SG Renovate AI rank, rate, or review contractors?
No. There is no ranking board, no star-score system, and no public review feed during alpha. SG Renovate AI is not running a contractor reputation contest.
Will SG Renovate AI verify or certify my business?
No. SG Renovate AI does not issue verification badges, accreditation, or certification. Reviewing your business details for fit is not the same as endorsing or guaranteeing your business.
Will homeowners use this against me?
The same written record protects both sides. Scope is recorded, variations are documented in writing, milestone evidence is captured, and handover is structured. Disputes that depend on "I never agreed to that" become harder for either side to make.
Will this create a lot of admin for me?
The intent is the opposite. Most contractor admin pain comes from re-explaining scope, re-arguing variations, and re-litigating defects without records. A shared written record reduces those loops over the life of a project.
Will SG Renovate AI interfere with my contracts or pricing?
No. SG Renovate AI is not a contract authority, not a pricing authority, and not a legal adviser. Your commercial terms remain yours.
Can I choose what, if anything, becomes public about my firm?
Yes. Public visibility, if any future stage offers it, is opt-in and reviewed. Nothing about your firm becomes public from interest registration.
What happens after I register interest?
The founder reviews registrations manually. If your firm fits the current alpha cohort, you may be contacted for a structured conversation, pilot alignment, or feedback on the workflow. There's no obligation on either side.
Is this a paid contractor listing?
No. There is no paid listing, paid ranking, paid placement, or paid badge during alpha.
Fairness during alpha
Both sides write things down. That's the deal.
SG Renovate AI's discipline applies to both sides of every project. Homeowners are nudged toward written scope, written variations, milestone evidence, and structured handover. Contractors who join the controlled alpha are expected to operate on the same basis.
Contractors are not asked to give up their commercial terms, pricing, or contracts.
Homeowners are not given grounds to dispute work that was scoped, varied, evidenced, and handed over properly.
The platform's role is to keep the record clean, not to take sides.
Next step
Register contractor interest. No public visibility. No automatic listing.
Tell us about your firm, your renovation work, and how you currently handle scope, variations, evidence, and handover. The founder personally reviews each interest registration during controlled alpha.
